Taking a pet

Taking a pet with you oversees is not the crime, of course. But I would like to share with the simple case which happened to me and my occasional fellow-traveler. The matter is that he aimed to move with his cat. He purchased the ticket for it, but unfortunately there were any animal place for them. So, this funny kitty was to travel with us in the general carriage. It turned out that the cat is to be vaccinated. But the owner did not have the documents to prove the vaccinations and health of the pet. That is why he was about to go away with his cat, but luckily he promised to give the needed papers right at the place of his destination. In your native country you could end the occasion so luckily, but to bring your pet abroad, you have to get all the documents prepared as this pet is considered to be a potentially dangerous object and needs the veterinary's conclusions. Also think about your pet's fate carefully. The matter is that the life conditions abroad, water, food, environment, customs could be totally different to those it used to. The animals overcome the changes harder than the humans do. In addition, the road could be very hard to the animals. If you are not sure in your affair, leave it, because your pet could end very sadly.

Whatever the reasons of your decision to travel with your pet, make all the possible prescriptions which are to be given in the consulate or embassy as well. The consultations are given by phone, too.
