Lost luggage
When you are traveling, you expect your trip to be very comfortable and problems-free. So, everybody expects positive emotions only. One of the evens that can spoil your mood is luggage lost. They say that it happens to every fifth passenger of the airlines. At least, I hope that you are that lucky guy, anyway sometimes you can arrive to Spain, but your suitcases turn to be in the USA. They suggest that your luggage is to be found in forty four hours. You have to give a claim in twenty four hours after the moment of discovering. The missed things are transported to the store of the lost luggage. Be sure that every item in your suitcase is labeled or marked with your initials. Also you can leave your visit card at the suitcase. If you are not able to write your home address and phone number, write down your work e-mail and phone number.
As a matter of fact, if they do not find your luggage, they must pay you for the missed items. The matter is that it is paid for its nominal weight; it does not include the value of the content. If you wish to safe your things, do not be lazy and ask purchasing value insurance which allows to inquire paying the value of the lost items, rather than using the weight paying method.
So, nobody is preserved from such unlucky cases. Take cash and credit cards with you. At least, if you are left for your own without any change and your favorite towel, cash gives you an opportunity to live somehow for forty four hours while the airlines are seeking for your luggage.
